Minimum Requirements:
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade I
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
- Nuclear Gauge Certification
- Soils Density Testing Experience
- Must possess a strong Knowledge of general engineering construction methodology, operations, and general building construction.
- The ability to perform, review and/or analyze laboratory and field tests/data to provide interpretation of test results.
- Ability to take on increasing responsibility on a wide variety of projects
- Understanding of safety and PPE as required by regulatory committee.
- Reliable transportation to and from various job sites state wide, perform inspection and testing of materials in the field (in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to prepare daily project reports, data sheets, various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor, time cards and expense reimbursable documents with attention to detail daily.
Desired certifications (any combination) or willing to obtain in the first six months of employment (reimbursement paid by employer upon completion resulting in certification) :
- ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
- ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing Special Inspector
- ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
- ICC Structural Welding Inspector
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector in AWS D1.1 Code
